The vehicles in this photograph appear to date it in the 1940s or 50s, long after the lighthouse was deactivated in 1922 and left empty. Gone are the spindly, widely-spaced trees visible in the previous image. The building's roof and façade during this period show signs of the neglect that followed deactivation.
