This is one-half of a stereograph image by the noted early photographer Eadweard Muybridge (1830 - 1904). The image is undated, but it comes from a collection of Muybridge's stereographs at UC Berkeley's SUNsite digital library which is dated collectively between 1867 and 1880.

Mubridge's caption for this image reads:

Admiralty Head - Whidby Island, entrance to Puget Sound, 4th order fixed light. 108 feet above sea level.
